Meet Rev. Michael De Ruyter

Mike has been the pastor at the St. Croix Reformed church since July, 2022. Prior to coming to St. Croix,
he served congregations in California and Michigan. Mike has also been a jail chaplain and a chaplain
with the United States Army.

In addition to working as a pastor and chaplain, Mike has been a leadership coach and consultant for the
past 12 years, working with family businesses,

non-profits, and hospital systems that wish to develop
emotionally intelligent leadership structures and practices.

Mike has a doctoral degree in theology and has completed a postgraduate program in family systems
and family psychotherapy.

He has been married to his wife Tammy for 28 years. Together they have raised three children.
